Chilisin Group reports April 2020 consolidated revenue of US$52.206 million, recording revenue up 12.23% MoM and up 19.85% YoY, with accumulated 2020 revenue of US$172.370 million, up 3.67% YoY. For the revenue of the inductor products, driven by the stay home economy, remote working and learning, the demands from NB, PC, server and networking product customers continue to be strong. The shipping quantities of the big and small size molding products have hit record high. Chilisin’s April revenue has reached a new high for the last 18 months and MagLayers’ April revenue has reached the highest point in history. For the revenue of the resistor products, the market demand remains strong, plus with the unit price increase for the thick film resistors, Ralec’s April revenue has also reached a new high for the last year and half. With the Malaysia factory now fully operational that we will increase the production output and utilization to satisfy customer needs, and to gain more shipping momentum. For the revenue of the ferrite material products, with the continuing downturn of the automotive market and impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe and U.S., the order shipping momentum has slightly weakened. Foresee the month of May, the demands for stay home economy, remote working and learning related products will continue. With the COVID-19 pandemic situation gradually slows down and the governments from most countries promoting economy; the sped up of building 5G base stations and infrastructures in the Greater China Area, the market demands remain strong.
